Work in the capital, with the Aare through the centre and the Bernese Alps as your back garden.
Bern is the capital of Switzerland, but it does not feel like it. The medieval old town is a World Heritage Site and the pace is a little slower than in Zurich. In summer you simply float down the Aare after work.
Our vacancies in this region are in the city and further into the mountains, up into the Bernese Oberland. See the current offer below.
Bern is German-speaking, although you regularly hear French on the street as well. German will get you a long way. And in your first year in particular, an employer who takes your language and your induction seriously makes a real difference. If you prefer nature, there are practices outside the city too, as far as villages in the Bernese Oberland such as Hasliberg.
Working in Switzerland starts with the recognition of your diploma. With our SRK PreCheck you know where you stand before you begin. After that we help you with applying, negotiating and moving. Plan an introduction and we will go through everything with you.
The takeoff team is made up of physiotherapists who moved to Switzerland themselves. In an introductory call we look at which practice fits your experience and your plans, and we go through the practical side, such as getting your diploma recognised and finding somewhere to live.
