Your BIG registration in the Netherlands remains active as long as you meet the re-registration requirements. Good to know: your working hours in Switzerland count towards your BIG registration, provided you have SRK recognition. Without SRK, your working hours don't count, so this is really important to arrange properly. We help you with this so everything goes correctly.
Absolutely! Switzerland offers excellent opportunities for entrepreneurial physiotherapists. However, you do need specific knowledge of Swiss healthcare, regulations, and business aspects. It's smart to first gain work experience in Switzerland before taking the step to your own practice. This way you get to know the system and build a network.

The duration of the SRK process can vary, but on average it takes several months. The processing time depends on various factors: how complete your application is, how quickly you can provide the required documents, and whether additional information is needed. At takeoff, we ensure your application is complete and correct from the start, which can significantly speed up the process. We have already guided more than 70 physiotherapists through this!
We keep seeing the same mistakes! The top five: missing or incorrect documents, wrong translations, starting the application too late, not having the B2 German certificate on time, and unclear information about work experience. Fortunately, these mistakes are easy to avoid if you know what to look out for. We guide you through the entire process so you don't fall into these traps.
